My understanding is that registration opens at 9am PDT June 6, 2014 (tomorrow morning). If you are interested in performance events such as autocross or track sessions, be sure to try to register early.

No need to register as a spectator or for the EV parade lap.

Ummm... yeah. Those guys are delayed.

Denarius, if the phone number you registered with is good, I'll give you a call when I have an update. No need to keep pulling over.

    3 hours late so far...

What are people doing for insurance? I see that Lockton Motorsports has this on their calendar. Other options or recommendations? What are people using for the stated value?

Yeah, they had some last minute details come up.

I got a note that it should be open now. But it's not actually opening for me yet. I assume any minute now.

I was planning to use Lockton unless someone else had a better suggestion. Their terms change (deductibles) at 100k that make low $100k agreed values unappealing. My car's now something like $112k if I had to replace it, so I was planning on something right at the cutoff: $99k or so. As far as I can tell there's no rush to get started on that, though. I'll probably do it a few weeks before since it's non-refundable. Edit: Upon closer examination, this is wrong. It's refundable (minus an unspecified admin fee), but you need the event organizer to issue the insurer a written statement you did not attend the event. So it's refundable, but with major hoops to jump through.

Still having registration problems, it looks like.

I guess they're having some other issue. I'll give an update when I have one. Sorry for the delay.

Do we know how many spots there are? Do I need to keep checking this thing every 10 minutes? I didn't participate last year so I'm not sure how quickly it filled up.
