They don't have the r241 19x8.5 wheels I'm looking for. Any idea how long the Backorder is? I'm considering just getting the 9.5 if the wait is too long. Thanks

Thank you. Do you know if it actually says the word Replika somewhere on the rim? There is someone selling a used set, but I'm not sure if they're Replika or a knock off.

Its nowhere on the front of it...which...I like because I don't want it printed anywhere. Not sure about any other side/back. I wouldn't worry too much about someone making a replika knockoff...I mean, replika itself is a knockoff brand.

Updated from over the summer. Wheels have been great! May move them over as winter wheels with my Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4's I just bought and run sexier 20's next spring?

Been meaning to ask, has anyone been considered about the load rating for the 19x8.5" instead of 9.5" or is it fine?
Aren't the wheels fine, in regards to load capacity for Model Y?

Model Y has Gross Vehicle Weight Rating of 5,712 lbs / 2,591 kg (source - Google)

Replika R241 19x8.5 - Load Rating:1698 lbs / 770 kg (multiplied by 4 = 6,792 lbs / 3,080 kg)
Replika R241 18x8.5 - Load Rating: 1653 lbs / 750 kg (multiplied by 4 = 6,612 lbs / 3,000 kg)

Axle ratings - wheels still OK. 18's just make it..
  • Gross Axle Weight Rating - Front 20" Wheels: 3,005 lbs or 1,363 kg
  • Gross Axle Weight Rating - Rear 20" Wheels: 3,307 lbs or 1500 kg

Even with towing and being fully loaded?

So you still have to watch that you don't overload in any scenario. But i think all those figures show what the load rating of the vehicle is, and that the wheels meet or exceed the vehicle load ratings.

If you subtract the curb weight from the gross vehicle weight rating, you get the amount of weight you are able to add to an empty vehicle. You need to factor in the tongue weight of the trailer also.

At any rate, if i'm not mistaken, all this means if you're exceeding the load rating of the wheels, you're also exceeding the load rating of the vehicle / axles.

Thanks for the explanation. Looks like I'll probably go with the 19x8.5" after all.
