Congrats, its been a while since we seen an X from Australia! Our Model S is on a boat but we've "reserved" a Model X for the tune of A$6,000. The confirmation showed it was "Australia #57".
Hi danielp, awesome. Can you confirm the date/sequence # so we can add this to the tally? Thanks in advance.Xcellent.
(Sorry)
I have a colleague who just put an order in too. I think he is #58.
How does this work?
I pay a deposit (?6k), and I get to buy one of the earlier cars available?
Is there an option for not buying the car, and have the deposit refunded, if I am not happy with how the car turns out, or with its price?
What do people expect the local price to be?

I would hope we don't need to confirm prior to the confirmation of pricing?Just to clarify Brissienew - you can get your deposit back if you are not happy with final price/delivery timeframe/options etc.
But once you've hit CONFIRM on the internet, that's it, you can't get your deposit back.
Hopefully we'll get a chance to go for test drives before you need to confirm.

Tomorrow (4am our time) Tesla is make an announcement.... It is currently a mystery, but my guess is that it is about the website configurator of the Model X
Maybe a little off topic but why are people congratulating others for reserving a car? It is not a very hard thing to do. It is also not an extraordinary accomplishment? It is just a reservation and punching in you credit card information on a website... So why congratulating?
