I’m gonna respectfully disagree on this one. Calling any Tesla accent lighting a “fog light” is a big joke. They are 99% accent lights to make things pretty. That’s it.
None of the actual real cars have them, the renderings with them have been changed to ones without. I think it is safe to say it won't launch with them, although hard to say if they may come in the future. So has the presence or absence of a nose camera in the Highland cars been verified?
Thats a feature I was excited about. Disappointed that it didn't make it. Perhaps it will be on the North American release. So has the presence or absence of a nose camera in the Highland cars been verified?
Jeeze ... such tsk tsk speculation. Just a couple of paragraphs in that article. Says there's a new motor number, so it just maybe, just maybe is a performance motor. Jeeze Louieeeze. Here is paragraph one:So it looks like the Highland Model 3 Performance is going to get a motor (and thus performance) upgrade? If so, and it makes the new model 3 finally have a good top end and run low 11's easily at 120+, we're looking at a new affordable street king. Not that the current M3P wasn't already, but other electric vehicles from BMW and Kia within the same price segment were already catching up and with better top end.
Within the same price segment? Can you show me this 30k BMW EV equal? So it looks like the Highland Model 3 Performance is going to get a motor (and thus performance) upgrade? Wasn’t my story pitch. 35k P with incentive. Now show me that inflated head line BMW you speak of at a same priceCan you show me this 30k Model 3 Performance?
Wasn’t me either. Where are you getting this $35k Performance?Wasn’t my story pitch. 35k P with incentive. Now show me that inflated head line BMW you speak of at a same price
I was replying to the csammy pitch. Your the one that jumped in to debate the low cost BMW.Wasn’t me either. Where are you getting this $35k Performance?
I never mentioned a 30k Performance model or a 30k BMW. Where are you drawing your conclusions from? It's okay to say you misread or didn't understand.I was replying to the csammy pitch. Your the one that jumped in to debate the low cost BMW.

I believe that EVERYTHING about the refresh saves Tesla money in production.
We have heard it from Elon time and time again that "The best part is no part".
A stalk is a part
A fog light is a part
A split tail light is 4 parts ( now only 2 ).
There is a lot less that can fail on the highland.
Not so much a dealer breaker for myself, but not my preference. I would pay extra fir stalks. I'm sure I'll get used to it after a few weeks.Whatever, not having stalks is pretty close to a deal breaker for me - can anyone here say they have had a failure there?
I would prefer to keep the fogs as well but I only need them a handful of times a year. That said they're super helpful when I do.But worse is no fog lights; half my weather here in marine fog.
