Roadside assistance without warranty

I would suggest getting regular third party roadside assistance. Even on a brand new car the Tesla assistance is patchy at best. Anything outside business hours it's apparently worthless, from posts I've seen on here.

I think my Green Flag cover is somewhere in the region of £40 per year & covers dead traction battery flatbed recovery as well as the usual breakdown cover. Check on the comparison sites but make sure you read the small print for what is covered or not, especially if you want to drive the car abroad.

I have 3rd party roadside assist and I am still in warranty, one too many horror stories of Tesla taking ages and refusing to be friendly over tyres. Full confession, it’s also European wide coverage so I can get the car back home if I need to should it breakdown as Tesla will only recover you to the nearest service centre.
