My wife (soon to be walking wife
) gouged the steering wheel due to wearing a ring on her left hand (soon to be removed forcefully
).
I'm unable to actually *see* any damage, but I can feel it. Whereas once the wheel was entirely smooth, now there's a textured area, probably 2-3 inches long at about 10 'O clock on the wheel and facing the windshield.
I was thinking perhaps I could sand it smooth somehow... but also that chances are good I'll totally destroy the leather.
Anyone have any suggestions? The feeling on that spot annoys me greatly.
