If you don't mind sharing (or maybe you did and I missed it) what your trades were?

That's my best week so far. Since I've been keeping weekly profits as cash, the amount I can trade each week has been snowballing. Next week I should be able to double my total accounts for the year, with the majority of that coming from option sales.

I did post all my main trades during the week, so you should be able to look back and find them. The main positions were opened on Monday, then on Tuesday I added extra IC, CC and BCS and rolled the Put sides up to $720.

Looks like the app just subtracts the last printed price of each option and gives you the difference for the final result. In real life, yes, it would be 0 unless it gets exercised after hours as discussed above.

It was a learning exercise and it’s nice to confirm my understanding of the mechanics.

A hectic but very good week. I managed to close everything out for around 99% profit so will be all ready to go again next week.

Interesting data point on IV. On Jun 30th with the sp at around 680ish, I bought some Jan 2022 750’s. They are still down 10%, even at the 759 close today.

STO c750s earlier in the week to dare them to take my shares. As that ended up the case, I have 3x as many brand new June 2023 600s to take their place.

Man, the positions being taken in this thread are starting to make me question just how much of the weekly TSLA options market we all comprise.

The thing about a $20 wide spread - 200 of those is $2000*200 = $400,000.

Which is really still pretty small next to teh TSLA options market.

I wonder how much MaxPain would be affected if it only included practical strikes. Maybe SP +/- $200 or so.

I managed to get into 630/730 put spreads for 9/24 this week. Some of them opened before today, and the rest opened today in the last hour for $6. I could have opened for more this morning but I was semi-expecting a drop towards 735 or 740 that didn't come. Happy with the $6 premium though, and I sort of expect these to be dropping in value (as shares go up) on Monday morning.

As many others, no cc open at this time. I find myself waffling whether I'll be opening any next week or just letting time go by on the call side. The shares are going up enough, and the puts are paying well enough, that I don't need to press any harder for income.

No reason to take the chance in the After Hours ( or the last 1/2 hour of trading) for an extra $10.
That would be what I call "Stupid Cheap & Greedy"

Yes you can.
Not automatically assigned like you would if your options are ITM at the close but owners of options have until 530 PM EST to exercise ( unless their broker has an earlier cutoff)
That's an hour and a half after closing time.

Honestly I don’t think anyone thought it would go to 700. Everything was pointing to 740-750. 760 is nice and bullish.

Absolutely. During the run up last fall prior to and after S&P inclusion there were significant reports of people having options exercised after close on Friday.
