Exactly. Why are they so gung-ho about building the GF in two locations? Because the rest of the car is not delayed in any way.

So many things point to production expansion and a bigger economy for the company... e.g. who cares what countries the cars are going to, the factory has been producing cars at a blistering pace. It's an Occam's Razor situation.

he has a pattern of repeating phrases, and he used the 99% phrase on a talk aired on CSPAN, and he said the 2nd factory in 3-4 years multiple times in China. none of those were occasions for follow up. if Elon repeats these phrases today you can be sure the analysts will ask follow up questions.

Cameron if you are talking common shares you are willing to hang onto, why not split the difference and buy half of what you were thinking of getting greedy with before the call

I did the same, bought half pre (last Thursday) and plan to buy other half post earnings. Timing is always tough, no matter what.

They had it wrong in Q3 (which was a phenomenal quarter) and yet the market went along with that wrongness for about 3 months.
