That is quite the bombshell to me. No door/windshield bottlenecks?

I paraphrased, but this is what was posted to thestreet.com's live blog "JB Straubel says most innovative features that caused problems in Q4 have been overcome today. Falcon wing doors, the filter." I thought I heard windshield was previously an issue. Elon mentioned chrome finish and hand fixing seals was a problem but is no longer. Also mention of bringing 2nd row seats in house.

My understanding is that you can't use deposits to fund operations but you can use them to buy capital goods.

If Sh!* hits the fan, you can always sell hard assets to return deposits.
 
wow, interesting to hear Elon basically agreeing that the X is too feature rich and he has regrets.

The other thing I read into that statement was that he front-loaded all the features, and from a continued demand point of view, these could have been rolled out more slowly to keep up demand over time, while also easing the initial ramp complexity requirements.
