After a year or two since you started this post, have you tried the new Perelli tires or upgraded since?
(“T Sportline 18" TS5 wheels(45.8 lbs wheels, tires, and TPMS Sensors) and 235/45/18 Michelin PS4S tires”)
Yes, I tried the 245/40/18 Pirelli PZ4 tires with the much smaller outer diameter several times at the same track. I was able to do a 3.00 0-60 mph instead of the 3.01 0-60 mph I did with the 235/45/18 PS4S tires. The Pirelli's were slightly lighter and wider but it honestly wasn't worth it. It barely made my 0-60 mph quicker and it hurt me after 55 mph where HP starts to decrease.

I took the Pirelli PZ4 tires off and I run 235/45/28 Hankook iON EVO AS tires now. I was able to do a 3.06 0-60 mph and an 11.24 @ 119.4 mph 1/4 mile with the Hankook All Season tires. They helped my efficiency tremendously so that is what I am still running now.

I have a 23 MYP not a M3P but you have convinced me....

Going to pull my 255/55 18 Snow tires off of my Enkei 18" wheels and mount 235/55 18 Hankook Ventus S1 Evo2's front and a pair of the 255/55 18's in the rear.

This should be interesting versus the factory Michelins on the 21" uber-heavies.

Read the whole thread and thanks for all the data.
If this works for a M3P, should see improvements in the MYP as well.

The Y gets some pretty incredible acceleration with smaller lighter wheels and some interior weight reductions. This is another person’s Model Y. It is really quick.

Holy Cow.

That is quick enough to almost give a new Charger EV Daytona, with 670 horsepower, 627 foot-pounds of peak torque and a 0-60 mph time of 3.3 seconds "estimated" a real Good run for the money :)
