I tell my friends, only half jokingly, that I grocery shop for one item at a time, just so I can make more trips back and forth to the grocery store with my Model 3.

I've owned four 3-series BMWs and have love them all. Still, my Model 3 is more fun than any of them.

Still, I sometimes miss the rumbling sound of an ICE vehicle, properly tuned. Here is a recent Dodge Charge commercial that is pretty fun:

Wouldn't it be great if Tesla created this sound so that when one accelerated, one could hear the roar from inside the car -- just for fun with passengers?

I used to think that but now I am annoyed by the illusion is speed that is those sounds. I just get pure speed with no sound!

I have belonged to another car forum for muscle cars for a very long time. You'd be surprised how many new owners subscribe and immediately inquire how to make their already obnoxiously loud factory exhaust even louder. Always makes me chuckle. Hey, look at me...look at me!

I was a muscle head exhaust guy before. Loved that popping sound but man I now get annoyed when there’s loud exhaust of people pulling away. It’s like there trying too hard.
