Charging stations will be installed to local dogging locations soonHow long before home EV chargers become a component of sex work? You know it's coming...
and what do we do for the rest of the 7hrs, 58minsWell you gotta do something whilst you're waiting 8 hours for the car to charge...
Nap I assumeand what do we do for the rest of the 7hrs, 58mins
Was thinking the same. Some idiot trying it on. Think I might start to turn off dumb charging mode in the near future as we will start to hear about electricity being stolen no doubt.
I used to live in a place where it wasn’t unknown for random people to park on others driveways. Not to steal electricity but just to have somewhere to park.It may happen one day but it's never ever been reported on this forum (yet?). You would need some brass neck to leave your car parked for hours on someone else's drive!
Once the car has had a recharge, then you need one too. That must be a record marathon session then
My charger is scheduled to not start charging until 00:30 so people could plug into a dead cable if they like while I'm out.Anyone come across a lock that holds the charge port to the wall so it can’t be used?
I guess if this becomes an issue of random people charging up off others chargers someone will come out with one. Just not sure it’s been identified as an issue yet.Anyone come across a lock that holds the charge port to the wall so it can’t be used?
I had forgotten that feature. Which hardware version implemented it?You do know you can program your Tesla brand wall connector to only charge your car/s or whatever car you choose…
Its called Access Control. This should explain it all.I had forgotten that feature. Which hardware version implemented it?
Correct, Gen3 Wall Connectors only. Thanks, forgot to mention that and made the correction in my initial post.Only the v3 I think, the v2 is dumb.
It doesn’t with some of the newer charging tariffs in the UK that need specific chargers of which Tesla’s one isn’t supported.Tesla chargers are the only ones with the button though.. the car has all the functionality required to do timed charging already.
Amazon has lotsAnyone come across a lock that holds the charge port to the wall so it can’t be used?
