Stop light detection not working

Hi All,
Updated to 2019.8.5 a couple weeks ago. The notes say it now has stop light detection. Have tried it half a driven times during the day and night with AS on and has not warned me about a red light once. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I've only tried it once but it worked for me on a 2016 AP2 MCU1 75D

I tried it twice in my S without any success. It either doesn't work or it warns after its too late to do anything about it anyway, making it worthless.

I only run red lights and stop signs when my wife is riding with me . . . at least that's the only time anyone notices.

Both day and night it does not seem to detect very reliably. I've gotten 2 red light detections since my 8.5 update on 4-4-19

I find this /\ /\ very minor hic-up very hard to believe. Every update and new AP feature in the past has worked nearly flawlessly especially when it comes to detecting cross traffic tractor trailers, parked fire trucks, parked police vehicles, and jersey barriers. I am now going back to napping in the back seat with my cup of Joe secured in a steering wheel cup holder.

I have 8.5 on MCU1 AP2.0 and don’t recall seeing this as a feature on the release note (I will take another look today). Never had it trigger but I didn’t recall running a red either.

I have found that driving with your head out of your ass you won’t red light warning....

My red light detection definitely works on AP2 MCU1, 8.5 FW.

The other day I was slowly approaching a red light, the traffic light logo was displayed along with the hands on steering, and the car actually stopped on it's own which was unexpected but really cool.
