Supercharger — Catoosa, OK - Near Tulsa, OK

This is my review of this SpC location based on our recent trip:
Location - not bad. The SCs are physically located in the parking lot of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, which is about 5 minutes off I-44. The casino even offers free shuttle to pick you up and take you to the casino, which is actually less than 5-minute walk away.
Charging rate - excellent. Followed the general rule of (125kW - battery SOC) rate.
Facilities - good. The hotel / casino, as expected, has a small food court and buffet. The bathrooms are pretty clean.
Overall - giving it 4 out of 5 stars for the convenient location, excellent charging rate, and decent accommodation (if you don't the casino set up).

I hope it is OK to post a note about this supercharger station here. I have charged here twice (on my way south and on return north). When going south, I was directed to the new supercharger (behind the Hard Rock Casino) without a problem. When going back, I was directed to a completely different place nearby where there is NO supercharger. It appears that there are two Cherokee Streets in town. I ended up at the local fire department address on a Sunday with no idea where I was. It was a stressful time with only 20 miles of battery left. I hope Google Maps/Tesla /Cherokee Nation can resolve this one.

No idea what you were using to navigate there, but if you just push the lightning bolt icon in the Nav and then push the supercharger icon (also looks like a lightning bolt) over Catoosa, you really can't screw it up.
Also, which "new" supercharger are you talking about? The supercharger at the Hard Rock hotel and casino in Catoosa has been there over 2 years. Did something change?

Used my standard Tesla nav system enroute from ABQ via Tucumcari to Ontario, Canada. Made no changes to the system and was directed incorrectly. Yes, pushing the lightning bolt and navigating to the correct location worked. That doesn't mean that the system was working properly.

I just charged there a little over a week ago myself, and about 4 months before that. My cars nav antenna was not working last week but Plugshare was some help. My wireless antenna got locked up (tried resets and customer service) and quit working while passing through Oklahoma from Michigan, all the rest of the way back to Arizona. Then, It just started working all of the sudden before I had the chance to get to SC. Nav couldn't locate my cars position. Now that was a pain... Bad cell service did not help my phone GPS either.

Dropped by for charge while heading west on Oct 12, 2019. First pull through SC I had seen.
Sorry to resurrect this old thread but I just read a post on the OKTeslaOwners group FB page that the Catoosa, OK supercharger access will be blocked due to construction at the Hard Rock Casino for a "minimum" of two hours on July 13th. (7-9am)
Acess will be blocked due to safety for a helicopter heavy lift operation to remove equipment from the casino roof. Wind conditions could also change all of this.
This is bad since the chargers will show as available for travelers but they won't have physical access. The OP works at the casino where the employees were notified via email.
Many detour through Tulsa on their I-40 trips because they can't make it from OKC to Van Buren, AR. I guess worst case is people will need to wait a few hours.

Update: New info from the OKTeslaOwners group FB user that works at the casino.
On the morning July 13, access to the Catoosa Supercharger will be blocked due to construction at the Hard Rock.
The plan is from 3am to 10am at a minimum, but could be more.
Hard Rock did notify Tesla support. Hopefully car navigation systems will reflect the lack of access.
I hope this helps but I doubt the ones that need to see this will.

At least Denison has a permit filed so that promising. In terms of Tulsa Metro none that I have heard of.
I see a new Tesla supercharger coming Q1 2023 on teslas map! The area really needs a V3!

I think I read before that on the coming soon they pin to the center of the City. Once someone hears a location I'll keep tabs and report updates
It isn't correct. That's just the generic location of Tulsa on google maps.
