That's actually not entirely correct. For quite some time, the Tesla "coming soon" map showed a second site in Barrie, but we had all been speculating that it would be an expansion to the existing site at the Park Place mall, especially when, for some reason, they removed the second Barrie site from their map. Then this new site popped up.

Not active as of Friday the 24th. Looks like all work complete BUT there is an empty concrete pad waiting for a transformer.

I wonder that the holdup is? This site appeared out of nowhere, seemingly fully constructed, at least physically, on Oct 22. Yet it still isn't live.
