There's a good chance that Tesla configured this site on Saturday. Someone should definitely check!
No luck!
Although the new HOT Lane is great.

Just left Buford Chargers ... 2pm on Monday ...Tesla Rep buttoned up all chargers and told me unofficially they might turn the power on later today ... officially on the maps it won’t show up until the contractors instal a fence around the battery packs !!! He told me to look for the lights :)
Awesome news !
Those are some mighty tight parking spots by the way.
I see many curbed 21s in the near future !
Especially with the grassy patch right behind the stalls, difficult to back out as well.
I assume they will do away with that grassy patch.

I am trying to get destination chargers installed but haven't heard from Tesla yet.
Might go ahead and install them myself here in a couple of weeks.

Sorry I missed you. Was a quick stop on way to kids soccer. I couldn’t believe it when I saw the lights on. What is it about some “free” juice that makes you feel like a kid in the candy store. Early Christmas in Buford!!
Free candy!!
That's what I feel like.
I live 3 miles away, don't even need it. Just wanted to be here for the hell of it.
Pretty lonely actually, I was expecting a lot of company!

Some of the pull ins are a bit snug, but power is power. Gotta love the pretty red glow of the signs.

**Note for those coming from i985, financial center way will be your friend to access these chargers during high traffic times on Buford Drive. Turn like you are going to the Toys R Us complex and take the back way.**

Are there batteries at this location? Is that what's in the tall (~ 2'x2'x6', fan at the top of each) white cabinets at SCs? I didn't think those were batteries...figured they are some sort of transformer.
Also, I was just at a SC in Jacksonville and those cabinets were not fenced off (at all). In fact, I liked this new design because it contained zero wooden fencing that weathers and ends up looking like hell (Exhibit A: Tifton SC).

Not batteries, C&M (and suwanneedad). The smaller white cabinets with the vent hoods contain the supercharging electronics that convert AC to DC. The larger white cabinets (sometimes gray) are for "switchgear", basically just wiring and breakers etc. to interface the utility power to the Tesla cabinets.
