@Zorg, you live in Fremont. Drive over and take a look and let us know what you find out.
I did last weekend. Was not ready, hence my question. Looks like it should be soon though based on Michael feedback. Bay area needs more chargers, especially in the east bay. Hayward and Oakland are supposed to get one next year I think.

Dropped by this afternoon on my way to another errand and saw PG&E sitting there at the supercharger. Shouldn't be too much longer for this one to go online

I may have been a bit premature in my earlier assessment. The light poles have not even been installed.

I also stopped by briefly around 2 pm Thursday afternoon and noticed the two light poles were still on the ground, Tape still on the charging pedestals, and the PG&E truck was not next to the superchargers, but way over near the back end of target in the electrical underground area. Must be having difficulty getting power out to that remote part of the parking lot, as there were no visible trenches seen during construction.
Something is happening and it does not look good.
Drove by today to find workers digging up piping from underground. I tried to talk to them but they ignored me other than to tell me to stay away from the trench.

The electricians are out today again in the rain. Look like a big push to get these operational soon. I talked with the crew, and they said they are not allowed to talk about what they are doing. But most of the pedestals have charging cables installed. They were working in a pit on Saturday working with conduit near the transformers.
