This is good news! The existing Supercharger in Grants Pass an be quite busy sometimes.

Interestingly, there is an Electrify America station directly across Route 199.

The more the better for I5 but there are still more tourist areas that I would like to visit with large gaps still like Crater lake and Florence.

Have to agree here... have made multiple trips up and down i5 (Seattle to Los Angeles) and Grants Pass is my evening stop. Going from a 2013 Model S to a 2023 Model Y and this stop will be welcome.

We go to Crater Lake all the time out of Medford, even in the winter, with no issue. The return drive is almost entirely down hill.

I’m coming from Bend and would like to not just get there and back but do a bit of driving once there. Nice to know works for Medford.

Anyone been by to scope the site out for digging? Blackstone is pretty timely with their dog tickets and beginning work. It’s been 10+ days.

A search of the grants pass permit system only shows a site plan review approved in May but no actual building or electrical permit for the site has been submitted. This is odd since Blackstone usually runs a tight ship.

V4 hasn’t stopped a few sites from going in and just completing construction of everything except the charge posts.
