So is this a V3 setup?I got close the other day, and they are definitely only V2 chargers. Rating plate listed 500V and 350A which would be 175kW. Kind of a bummer, but still glad Kokomo is getting a Supercharger none the less.
That's the nameplate on the switchgear cabinet. Can't really tell from that what type of supercharger it is as it just gives info for the overall site electrical connection. So is this a V3 setup?
It is V3. The cables are thinner and do not have that metal bearing around the cableGiven the ratings on the charger info plate, no. I don’t believe it to be a V3 set up. View attachment 510682
According to the info plate, it's 500VDC @ 350A, which is 175kW. That's a V2 - V3 is 250kW. Unless they're doing some kind of crippled V3 that has V2ish speeds but doesn't do A/B power sharing. It is V3. The cables are thinner and do not have that metal bearing around the cable
that’s what I’m hoping for. Or maybe this is the true V3 that they are rolling out, not the touted 250kW units they have elsewhere.According to the info plate, it's 500VDC @ 350A, which is 175kW. Yes, it is 250kW.
