While at upgraded v3 @Factory, about max for old car.For what it's worth, when the Haymarket VA SuperCharger was first opened, i went to check it out and was only getting 45-65kw. Called support and they said it was not turned up to full boost yet but would be in a week or so. A few weeks later, i was getting 100kw when SOC was low enough and now get 140kw after the updates.
Bob, are you trolling or just not reading?
There is a difference between reading and understanding.
Fair enough as I can read with understanding and that is not a universal skill:
V3 supercharger in Vegas
I thought I was going to get a little bit of a boost but I still was charging at 72-76 KW so it took over an hour to charge and still wasn’t all the way charged.
Near as I can tell from the OP, they got "Urban" charger performance, not even basic SuperCharger performance.
Regardless, in 24-48 hours we should start seeing more user reports of what happens at those SuperCharger stations.
LOL. Well played.Gotta spin the Vegas Supercharger roulette wheel! WHATS YOUR CHARGE RATE GOING TO BE?!!!
Yes, but you seem to be . . .
In contrast, no technical content here:

ROTFLMAO!. . .
Here is a more recent YouTube showing high power charging:

ps. Technical content:
ROTFLMAO!
YouTube is a pretty good source for current news documented in the video. One of the YouTubes suggest that non-Model 3 Teslas are throttled. Combined with recent news about older Teslas having reduced range, it begins to suggests the new, Model 3 battery chemistry and management allows much more aggressive charging.. . . youtube video . . .
I'm still looking for a Standard Range Plus Model 3 charge session recorded in "time lapse" with the vehicle clock. I can then plot the charge curve and compare it mine
At last, some slight technical content:
I need time as the X-axis and his chart shows "% SOC.":There are lots of these videos linked in @Zoomit ’s threads on the V3 supercharger profiles along with his graphs. Some posters even include the data table you can paste into your spreadsheet.
We're both suffering from a lack of video recorded data from the OP . . . or at least one of us is. <grins>I’m happy I can give you some small pleasure with trolling Bob. I found it amusing you found some random post of mine elsewhere to go “disagree” with that contains an example link on how to use Google as a calculator with units conversion. Nice to see you following my work: A Wh/Mile to Miles/kWh (or Wh/Km to Km/kWh) converter
pps. Bonus technical content: 76 kW is technically greater than 72 kW![]()
I need time as the X-axis and his chart shows "% SOC.":
Yes, but you seem to be reading and not demonstrating understanding ... even as you say you can read with understanding...
You quoted sources and say you "can read with understanding", but you post that OP got Urban (72 kW max performance) when he said he got up to 76 kW power ... 76 kW is not "Urban" charger performance. 72 kW is the maximum performance at an Urban Supercharger.
Are you reading and understanding this? 76 kW is greater than 72 kW, therefore 76 kW is NOT Urban supercharger performance.
Here's a thought. Reports will vary! LOL. Results may vary by car, by day, by stall all at the same location depending on many circumstances. OP gave one report, and offered some useful tips about alternate locations and avoiding parking charges.
Thank's OP. Maybe repeat your info on the other thread as well?
Bob, you offered a suggestion that didn't make senseMaybe you misread or misunderstood. All good. Just chalk it up to a mistake and move on. Better to admit a mistake and move on.
If you have the time:
I reported the inaccuracy via the app.Plugshare has the Linq SuperCharger station:

Minor error, they did not include the distribution chargers. We really need someone to accurately count them and send a message to the developers. It would also help if a charging session reported their use if visiting a casino.

Meant to type "destination" but it came out "distribution." Regardless, whatever Plugshare calls them is what works for me.Minor error, what's a "distribution" charger?
