I'm going to be a pestimist and a h8er and say never. It will be the first supercharger built and never taken into service and with Aberdeen on the distant horizon it may not even be missed.

Hope I'm dead wrong.

... I can also add that the Bethesda Supercharger is still up and running. Just left there 15-20 minutes ago.

Just got a email from Greenberg Gibbons, the owners of Towne Center at Laurel.

"Tesla hopes to have the charging stations open by end of next week. Please check our Facebook and website for updates."

While we are waiting for Laurel to turn on, We should celebrate that Thursday night Brewer Maine was turned on! With Brewer you can now drive the entire 95 corridor from top to bottom using Superchargers (though you will want something in Canada to charge up on). It's great to see Tesla not only back-filling in areas to make charging easier (Laurel) but extending the network into areas that had no coverage at all!
