I really do hope this is true, been looking forward to using this SC since they announced it last year!

The one thing I haven't seen a photo confirm re: this site is if the transfer has the meter installed by Lincoln Electric System yet. The Nebraska Tesla group's 4/18 update for Omaha has a good photo showing the transformer in place with an OPPD meter.

I drove by on Saturday night, I saw the power meter was installed, but the pedestals were not on. Hopefully when I am up in Lincoln later this summer it will finally be open.

If the meter is there I have a feeling they'll probably send someone to commission both the Omaha and Lincoln sites on the same trip.

Just saw this update on the Tesla Nebraska Twitter feed:

Thank you to everyone that came out for Tesla Tuesday. Our next event will be the Omaha Supercharger opening followed by the Lincoln Runza Supercharger. Omaha is waiting on the final inspection (any day now), and Lincoln needed a modification (Early June opening).

You said it, this site has been one modification away from opening since last year!

Meter is live so this could be up within a week I’d Tesla is in the area to commission it.
