It was shown as Q1 before Tesla removed the Q from their Find Us map (and now only show the year). Q1 seems plausible given your recent photos of the site.

With the protective orange tarps (and the wood framework for more tarps?) it looks like they may still have some work to be done out of the weather. Did you notice if the BCH transformer was in place? To be placed on the concrete pad in lower right corner of the first photo?

No green transformer yet. With the "lightening" speed Valemount and Clearwater are progressing, it can be a while before this site goes on line...

At least the orange tarps are gone, likely a sign of some progress. For new Superchargers in remote areas, like McBride, Valemount, Clearwater (and Whitecourt and Valleyview in Alberta), I sometimes wonder if Tesla doesn't want to send out a technician to activate until all the sites in the area are ready to go.

Read the CBC article that was done about your trip in cold weather. Well done for working with CBC to bring some knowledge about EV's and cold weather driving to more rural Canadians.

Norwegian EV owner are handling it well at -45 to -50 C windchill -60 C. they do have a lot of DCFC though . Once we have Mcbride , Valemount and Clearwater it would be a lot easier to travel for EV owner in that area.
