Supercharger - Mesa, AZ - West Guadalupe Road

A couple breakfast spots in that shopping center, along with Cornish pasty, Native NY Grill and Wings, and Mi Famiglia Pizza and Pasta... A Starbucks caddy corner across the intersection. Also a Circle K station across the street for 24/7 snacks and bathrooms.

Roughly 1 mile east of the 101, and 1.5 miles south of the US60 (Superstition). Coupled with the soon completed site just a couple miles south on the 101, that area is filling in nicely. Need some love out in the SE valley, maybe San Tan Mall area, and also Queen Creek area.

I'm really happy for more superchargers. However I simply do not understand how they decide to put 4 locations so close to each other while huge swaths of the SE valley go totally ignored. Between Eastmark, Cadence, Queen Creek, and Gilbert there must be thousands of Teslas roaming the streets. The 202/60 area seems like a near-perfect spot for a huge Supercharger installation with loads space and tons of people around to take advantage of it.

Perhaps by concentration of apartment dwellers rather than homeowners? I don't know, just speculating. Or maybe it is luck - a strip mall owners thinks it would be a good attraction for their renters? I don't know how these permits originate.

No markings. It’s early. Closest X streets = Dobson & Guadalupe, southeast corner.

Photos…… oh yeah!

So you can see for yourself🫡

From my 8/26 photos it looks like we will be backing up to the pedestals…. but maybe one or two that may allow a towing charge pedestal. I’m outta town for a while so I’m hoping to see another photographer’s pictures to see if this is a possibility. 🫡

It’s operational.

I had a damp rag so I wiped them clean to doll them up for their opening.

The crew that did this installation kicked it and was very timely in getting this site up and operational. Coordination with SRP SEEMED FLAWLESS. Great job to everyone involved:)

Photos!
