I’ve never seen a V3 supercharger, but this one looked just like every other I’ve used.

I was pleasantly surprised at the charge rate, but attributed it to the fact that I’d been driving for almost an hour and my battery was fully up to temp.

It’s not a v3 charger. They opened them around 1-2 pm yesterday according to employees. Nice addition to my daily coffee stop!

I guess that's why people thought this might be V3, it was opened around the same time (sometime between 12 and 4).

As someone who will have his model 3 within 2 weeks (ordered today ) AND who has a handicapped tag, I don't mind - reserved charging

My local 7-11 has had a CHAdeMO for at least 5 years, and it is located in the handicapped spot. Pisses me off. I'll admit to ICEing that spot more than once, as often it is the ONLY spot open, and it is the ONLY handicapped spot, and I've never seen anyone use it

Is there a reason the supercharging stalls 3B, 4A, and 4B are constructed at the middle. You almost need to park inches away from the next car so the cable can reach the charge port. Other stalls are fine.

Only three stalls (3B, 4A, 4B) are centered. The rest of stalls are fine. What does this template design is trying to accomplish? The Stalls should be positioned to the left (closer to the charge port).

It was a joke. For several years the Newark DE lines were all sorts of screwed up and didn't align with the charging pedestals at all. As I recall, they even repainted them once and they were still wrong.

Incorrect striping or poor layout. Or the problem might have been that they tried to squeeze an extra stall in the available space or didn't fully allow for the extra width needed for a disabled accessible stall. Etc.

Thanks for the info. Three stalls are wasted for sure (including the disabled accessible stall), leaving five you can park at properly.

I emailed Tesla supercharger team with the same picture.

I also saw a Wawa employee casually parked his car in of the available (good) spots!

Hilarious! What a mess ... So, there indeed is a template they use every now and then

I was there yesterday and they seal-coated the charging area and corrected the lines. So all good now.

I was here over the weekend and was getting greater than 120kw speeds on our S 85D that had about 30% battery when we arrived (car shows up to 150kw speeds available). There were 2 other model 3's charging when we arrived and none when we left after about 20 minutes.
