Supercharger price increases over time - a PA turnpike example

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Somerset rest area (eastbound) is a convenient stop for us on a trip we take reasonably frequently. I've never seen it busy. We tend to get there late in the afternoon.

Dec 11 2022 $0.29/kWh
Mar 10 2023 $0.34/kWh
Jul 17 2023 $0.41/kWh
Sep 14 2023 $0.42/kWh

We also use one at a Duncan Donuts in Breezewood MD reasonably regularly. It was $0.30/kWh in Dec 2022; since March it's been $0.33-$0.34.

There aren't a lot of superchargers that we hit consistently. Are these price increases typical?

Supercharger prices fluctuate based on power/market pricing changes. There is local/regional variability to all superchargers (e.g. V1/V2/V3, off/peak hours, location, etc.)

For example, the highest I’ve seen a V3 supercharger in NorCal is a V3 supercharger peak price of $0.60/kWh last year. That price is now $0.52/kwh.
