Charged there today using a Chargepoint CCS charger. The Superchargers are literally right next to the Chargepoint chargers. There were several guys working on the Superchargers, but I didn't bother them with conversation.

Looks like you didn't back up all the way, but maybe it still wouldn't reach even if you had? In any case, it does seem a bit tight; it should have at least a little slack to avoid stress and premature wear. Maybe they knew of the problem and that's why they still had caution tape on?

They all have tape on them until they energize the system

Seems like the new V3/V4 concrete bases are centered in spots for the future V4 stall retrofit positioning, not really a mistake.

Yes I understand that, but if you look at the newest site plans that use these new "dual use V3/V4" pre cast stall base, like redding and dunnigan, it appears that they have a more "center of spot" bias than the old style base or 4 stall prebuilt V3. It's not dead center but it's certainly seems more offset away from the charge port side. Could be something could be nothing

In response to Fnirun... good work. Wow. I wonder if this is Tesla's answer to accommodating non Tesla's in the future. Rivians, for example, have their charge ports left-front as I recall. I'm assuming tesla did their homework on this. If it indeed does work for all EVs, Tesla will be the Chevron of all charge stations!

I usually back up until my back tires just touch the bumper. Don't know if that would make any difference in this case or not.

Yeah apparently Tesla mistakenly posted all there planned locations for the world, not just the U.S. The Hilltop address is a dummy location i would think, not sure about the Churn Creek one

Tesla has removed the addresses that were listed on all the "coming soon" locations. They caught there goof pretty quickly.

I figured that was someone's fat fingered mistake. Saved everything as a PDF just in case they took it off. Sure enough: they corrected it.

For some strange reason only the two stalls closest to the Charge Point units have writing saying EV Charging only, all the rest of the stalls have no signage indicating parking for charging only.

Not that I guess it really matters in the long run....But if they painted each spot a bright color or put a EV signage on the asphalt, that might help people that actually care, not to park there.

Just wait for those busy summer periods when that parking lot is full I bet there will be a lot of ICEing going on since I have seen that lot completely full lots of times.

In looking up the addresses the Hilltop address is for Holiday Inn while the Churn Creek one is just north of the SaveMore and Ross location
