Tesla Employee just took all the caution tape off and is charging his Model S. Told me to come back when it shows up on the maps lol he is still going through and checking every stall.

It might not show up on the nav/website for a few days, but it should be ready to use as soon as he is done, unless there is some type of paving issue or something similar.

With Sacramento, CA open, the greatest distance between Superchargers along I-5 has now dropped from 175 miles (Manteca, CA to Corning, CA) to 138 miles (Grants Pass, OR to Springfield, OR).

This is GREAT news! I'll be heading north to Red Bluff early next week, and this will make that stretch from Manteca to Corning so much easier! Nice to see that this promised "by end of 2017" location is already operational well before the end of the year.

Charged up last night around 11pm
Peaked at 117kw, had 80 miles rated range when I plugged in.

With Sacramento, CA open, the greatest distance between Superchargers along I-5 has now dropped from 175 miles (Manteca, CA to Corning, CA) to 138 miles (Grants Pass, OR to Springfield, OR).

This one was badly needed, in headwinds that 175 miles was a tough stretch to make at regular highway speeds.
