Supercharger - Sault Ste Marie, ON

It will indeed be a VERY HAPPY DAY when all of the Canadian Super Chargers, as well as North Dakota/Montana get their hardware installed and become operational. Would be VERY NICE to have it all done before Canadian Thanksgiving.
As I responded a month ago - there was no chance of this ever happening. Now we can hope they get some of them open for US Thanksgiving.

You were correct.
They could fire up Saskatchewan if they wanted to, as I think it is all complete. Not a hope for Manitoba, although Winnipeg has got conduit now.

Unfortunately, I was just being overly optimistic. I suppose I'm a "glass is half frozen" kind of guy :D.
Others have said that "Tesla techs told them they will be fired up "Sometime in November".

And just to close the side discussion on the DCFC going in at the Petro Canada station in SSM, not only is there no sign of any such charger there, I'm not sure there's going to be a Petro Canada station there much longer. The whole place is fenced off, and one end of the building has been torn down. Either they're tearing it down or doing some serious remodeling. In either case, there won't be a charger there any time soon if ever. (Photo was taken from the side of the building.)

If not at a remodeled gas station, they could the chargers at the fairly new* Petro Canada at 937 Great Northern Rd, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6B 0B9, Canada.

* The September 1st 2018 article “Home of The Whopper” Coming Back to the Sault | SaultOnline.com is about a fast food restaurant that would "be reopening its doors on Great Northern Road, just north of Third Line East, as part of a recently opened Petro Canada station".

If you look closely, all of the pedestals are not fully bolted together. I am speculating that more wiring or that Tesla wants inspection done prior to fully bolting together. Anyone else know anything about that process?

Could have really really used Sault Saint Marie ON supercharger. Below shows I charged 4 hrs at the hotel which I was very thankful for. Had 215 miles range to go 191 miles. I had to slow down a lot and pull over for people to pass me. There were a LOT of up and down hills that mostly felt UP when you are cutting range close. Bottom line tho is I was looking at the projected range on the energy graph for my last 30miles/50KM and comparing that to what range the NAV said we needed to get to the Sudbury Supercharger. Elevations show as well on my TeslaFI.COM output. I suspect that outside temp had something to do with it. I'm pretty sure our inside temp was set to 69F/70F even tho the info below indicates that the temp inside was higher.

TD;LR -- SSM, ON to Sudbury ON takes a lot more range than you'd expect based on the up/down terrain. Total gain (shown below) is small but lot of up/odwn. (80% recovery when going down?)

Visited the site today and though more of the final hardware (bolts and plastic caps) seem to be installed, there are multiple stalls that don’t seem to be fully finished. Note the vertical black gap in between the white plastic and silver in the front Charger vs the one behind it
