Supercharger - Shirley, NY

Can’t wait. Still wish they put it in the Applebee’s/ Aldi’s parking lot Down the road. It’s more open and right off the highway. Where it is now (or gonna be) there is no where to sit and eat a meal in the shopping center. Also Shirley isn’t the safest area to begin with so to have it tucked away in that dark corner is not the ideal place at night for that area. Just sayin

Shirley is officially open. Saw it on the Tesla nav earlier. Forgot to snap a pic and too lazy to go to the car.

This location (Shirley) is already attracting weirdo’s. Here is a picture taken today of a homeless guy trying to plug the supercharger into his wagon/shopping cart .

This is NOT a great neighborhood, and too far off NY-27. I charged here Friday lunchtime, and had to contend with a homeless dude smoking a joint right next to my car as I was unplugging.

Too isolated at the back of a run-down mall in an otherwise seedy area. I definitely wouldn't suggest anyone come here after dark. Use Islandia, Riverhead, Manorville or Southampton as much better (and prob safer) alternatives.
