Surprised they are doing one in Surrey first, Since that isn't a planned one on Tesla's website

This location could be Burnaby or White Rock (or both). We had this with Wenatchee, WA location. It needed up being in Leavenworth (~30 miles west). There was never a supercharger pin for Leavenworth, and the Wenatchee pin was deleted from the map after Leavenworth went live.

has anyone scouted out the supercharger locations for Burnaby, North Van, West Van, Richmond, and White Rock?

Definitely nothing in White Rock, yet... If they build some chargers in white rock, it might be at Semiahmoo Mall. Just because Semiahmoo mall and it's surroundings have free parking and so many stores/shops to offer. Compared to white rock beach where parking costs and there is a lack of shopping outlets and a surplus of just fine dining places.

I would prefer the Semiahmoo mall location over the beach for its practicality and usefulness for Tesla owners.

Whoa, didn't see this coming!
As X75D owner and ski lover Seattleite, I always had to stop two superchargers (Burlington & Squamish) when I hit Whistler. This will reduce my stops to single! Such a nice location.

Unfortunately it probably won’t save you much time, at least northbound. The slower rate of urban chargers and you’ll have to wait longer to charge up to a higher level. Personally I prefer to drive faster and stop to charge more often (when possible).

Yeah I didn't get the idea of stopping here on the way to Whistler either. There is also a supercharger in Whistler of course (and many other L2 options).

Makes sense. But for me, I always go to Whistler with at least one stop for dinner - which means urban charger speed is okay. I kinda feel wasting time either one of Burlington or Squamish. (it could be actually not wasting time for overall trip time, but I feel like so, emotionally)

As X75D owner, it's matter of "Can I reach there?". Chargers in Whistler do not help me to get there, but definitely helps me southbound. (it helps me skip Squamish charger)
