Supercharger - Swartz Creek, MI

Appears to be some wiring work going on at the Swartz Creek, Mi site today. Workers were on lunch break. Progress is good.

Did you happen to get a look inside the truck to see if they have the stalls now?

No stalls inside the trailer. I did stop by yesterday and they have removed all the fencing. They still have that big blue shipping container on site, but it is all locked up. No workers present, but it looks like most of the pre-wiring is done and secured, probably why the fencing was removed.

Went by the Swartz Creek supercharger location today. No change. No charge pedestals.
Same as it was 10 days ago.

I've been driving by everyday (on the highway) and keep getting excited every time I see the fireworks tent.

Other places around the country are starting to get their pedestals delivered. Any update on this one?

It's 90 miles away for me, so I'm not exactly driving by very often...

I have a drone I can send out this afternoon to take a look at Swartz Creek to see if any changes.

.....just don't let her know I called her a drone.

No changes at the Swartz Creek site. Hopefully when they finish in Hudsonville they will be here next.

Still have not put up that light pole either, it has been laying there for a few weeks now.

I went by this location myself today as I had to go to Flint anyway... The news is that there's no news. Looks exactly the same as the last picture we've all seen.

Interestingly there are quite a few cars that park out this far. I've noticed that every time I've been by here and you can see them in the pictures too. This isn't exactly close to the entrance to the store either. Maybe they are employees and they will know better than to ICE the chargers when they finally open.

I contacted the city manager via email and was told the proposed location for this supercharger is the Meijer on Morrish Rd. I briefly skimmed the meeting minutes that are available online and was unable to find any additional references.

In my opinion, this location fills a big void for lower central Michigan travel!

The post from last Wednesday says the site still has no pedestals. It's extremely unlikely that they'd get the stalls delivered, installed and working on Thursday and Friday.

They have done some landscaping work at the Swartz Creek site. Planted trees around the electrical boxes. Even put up that light pole that has been laying there for several weeks. However, still no sign of any pedestals.

Some paving has been done around the Swartz Creek supercharger in last 24 hours. Hope to see charging pedestals put up soon.
