Drove by yesterday. Same, NO meter and landscaping to do. My educated guess is that WE Energies is taking their time to come out and install the meter and test the system to make sure grid level protections are in place. My experience with WE is that they are not a very responsive company to customer requests, even when request would make them more money. Working with them as an individual B2C customer is quite different then working as a B2B corporate customer. But, hey what do I know. It will eventually get hooked up and running.Update: 6/12/23. I had to make quick run to Milwaukee last night. I stopped in on my return trip. Still NO Meter and there is a fair amount of landscaping to be finished. All of the signage and Light polls are up.
I wouldn't count on it. No meter is installed. After one is present Tesla still has to do their work to validate it.My folks are driving to Milwaukee this weekend and this SC would be super handy for a variety of reasons. Gonna keep a keen eye on this thread. Thanks for all the updates everybody.
How long does it typically take for Tesla to activate the site after the meter has been installed?I wouldn't count on it. No meter is installed. After one is present Tesla still has to do their work to validate it.
My favorite time frame estimate, at least when some of the slower utilities involved, is "sometime between tomorrow and the eventual heat death of the universe."Anywhere from A few days to a month. Lake Delton had a live meter for 3 weeks before Commissioning. I gotta believe the team will push to get this one online by the end of Q2 though.
So true. I stopped by today, still no changeMy favorite time frame estimate, at least when some of the slower utilities involved, is "sometime between tomorrow and the eventual heat death of the universe."
The universe has still not had its heat death. Checks out.So true. I stopped by today, still no change
