More progress. They're working on the pedestals. Also there's more equipment.
Any educated guesses as to when these might open up? Our next trip to Maine is booked for June 17th

Looks like this super charger site is about three quarters finish. Here some pictures.
Almost complete. The transformer needs to be installed and then the power needs to be connected to the power lines. This could take a week or a month.
It also looks like it needs a little pavement work.
Odd. The handles are stowed on the right side of the charger. While I haven't taken particular notes, I think all the ones I've used have the handle stowed on the left. It looks like they were installed backwards.
This arrangement does give an extra couple inches of reach to the cable.
I also seen a few installations where the charger was accessible from both sides.

Need the transformer installed and connected to main power line. Everything else is completed.
The transformer has been installed. The wiring has run from the transfomer to the power. Not sure if it connected power. Just a few thing do to get this supercharger station live
And the gray metal box next to the green box contains the meter, as per other recent Maine installations, so don't worry about that.
Looks like it just needs dry asphalt and final commissioning. Thought they might target Memorial Day weekend, the official start of tourist seasonbut maybe it'll just miss.

Sweet. My parents' summer place is 2 miles away. Beats the rest areas in Kennebunk.
