There are no workers, site cleaned up and doors to enclosure locked. There is rope around the site to show not un use. I have no idea if the site has been finaled by the inspectors or if the power company does that when installing the meter.

Are there numbers on the stanchions (1A, 1B, etc)? Tesla puts those on when they do their final tests/inspections. They obviously won't be there if the other stuff isn't complete. I think they coordinate a meeting with FPL to do that together with the meter.

Thanks.

If you check posting #78 you'll see them digging a trench at a prospective location for where a utility power transformer is likely to be set. Transformers are large green boxes. Do you happen to remember seeing such a box next to the Supercharger enclosure?

The interactive map has been updated. It now explicitly shows a West Melbourne planned Supercharger Station for 2017.

Stopped by location yesterday on way from St. Cloud to Jupiter to have dinner at Crafty Crab (very fresh Louisiana style seafood, very close to Superchargers). Looks to be getting close, but still no power infrastructure. Two pics uploaded

Hi Mike,

Thanks very much.

Your second photo clearly shows the concrete pad where the utility transformer will be placed. The utility has yet to pull the primary cable through those bends in the slot in the pad, set the transformer, run secondary cable from the other sets of bends to the switch gear and install the meter in the meter cabinet.

Stopped by talked to the crew doing the install took some pics. Tesla side is done waiting on Florida Power to set transformer and meter, could be as long as a month due to backlog from storms.

The BMW and Nissan delrships don't the street only have L2 chargers. The Nissan in Titusville FL has a L3 but is currently down due to a power surge from lightening. They said parts should be in and charger up and working soon, call ahead to confirm.
