Has anyone been through Wikieup lately? Any signs of something about to happen? I'll be driving through in mid-Oct and will report back... Hopefully this is still on the schedule to be completed in Q4-2023.

Drove through this last weekend, didn't see any signs of construction.

Drove through Wikieup twice in the last few days and still nothing at all to report. Bummer, as Wickenburg continues to grow its reputation as a bottleneck.

Tesla still says this site will be done by the end of the month… I can only assume it is fully built and ready to open any day now!!!

Because unfortunately that doesn't mean anything. It will probably flip over to 2024 during January sometime.

Dang....saw new posts and incorrectly thought we had some construction progress. Especially after seeing the flurry of new SC installs in the east Valley of Phoenix. Not the first or last time I'll fall for that!!

Of course… But, Tesla usually updates their site a little earlier when it is clearly obvious it’s not going to happen on time…

I've been following this post for months and randomly thought to check it today. I don't frequent this site, usually just get here by googling "wikiup supercharger az". Crazy there is so much activity today.

Passed through Wikieup today. Didn't see any SC specific construction, but the old 76 station on the east side of the road was fenced off and there were some construction vehicles inside. It looked like some demolition of the old blacktop and concrete was underway. Could this be the location of the eventual Travel Center that will be home to the supercharger site?

Drove through Wikieup on Monday 8th April and again returning on Friday 12th April. The difference between those two days is that they demolished the old 76 gas station canopy. This was out front of where the store burnt down on the east side of the highway.
Maybe progress towards cleaning this site ready for something new?
