Turn on TACC and sit behind a truck that's doing 60-65 and relax. You'll get there.

You are probably right on this. However, I personally still won't do it with out more buffer than this. To each there own, but I think you probably just can't picture the reactions I would get from my wife telling her I have to stay behind this slow moving truck for the next hundred miles. :D

There's a destination charger in Crossville at the Stonehaus Winery. You could stop in there for 60 minutes or so and get enough of a buffer to get to there. There are also some Level II chargers (and DC Fast chargers if you have the adapter) along the way at Cracker Barrel. You could stop and get lunch there and get an extra 25 miles or so of range while you eat.

Do you know what the speed limit is in rural TN? I do believe it is 70. 10% below that is 63 MPH. Even if you had to drive 60 MPH that wouldn't be a major sacrifice. You'd still be going faster than some of the traffic.

He has an S60. You think he has TASC? IMHO buying a 60 is/was a mistake but that is water under the bridge for which nothing but a large pile of money or the O.P.'s ICE can address.

The TN max interstate speed limit is 70, minimum 55. These are not guaranteed, localities can lower for cause. The rural speed limit is 55 unless marked lower.

His profile doesn't say what year S60 he has. I don't know if he has TACC or not. There are S60 with TACC.

* original S60 2012 – early 2014 wouldn't have it
---
* original S60 late 2014 to Apr 2015 could have it
* New S60 Jun 2016 –Apr 2017 could have it
* S60D Jun 2016 – Apr 2017 could have it

So when someone says they have a 60, I figure the odds are they have TACC or a new enough car that they could pay to enable it, but it isn't on a 100% of the 60s so it's just a guess.

I would also be interested in a Nashville area club. Just got my S75 last week. Love it so far.

When I picked mine up last week, the delivery specialist told me they were doing around 10 deliveries a day out of the Nashville SC at the end of September. Once October rolled around they were doing a delivery every day or two. If only half of those deliveries stay in the Nashville area then there would be a good club size it seems.

I'm in NSH as well. Would love to hang out with other owners!
Looking back in this thread, a TNTesla.org was registered, but it's no longer working.

We can create a group on TMC, and then make one correlating on FB, IG etc?

Reviving an old thread here. Check out Tesla TN on Facebook. Seems to be where most Tennessee Tesla owners have congregated now (105 members now).

Wanted to post this in case anyone from Tennessee happened across this thread.
