Tesla finally downgraded me from SR+ (240 miles) to SR (220 miles). Fog lights and immersive sound are gone too. (I paid for SR 220 miles). I'm on 2019.28.3.1

Don't think so, I got software update on 8/20 and noticed this yesterday.

I should have bought a SR instead of SR+.
I cannot wait to downgrade.

They downgraded me yesterday afternoon also, except I paid for the SR+
Any chance you’re in Florida? Wonder if this has anything to do with them uncorking due to the hurricane

Yes I'm also in Florida. I purchased in April. Nothing in account to upgrade.

@smashcz I just changed my battery display to read mileage and I definitely still have 240 as my max charge, despite it saying “Standard Range” now in my menu... Are you certain it isn’t just a display bug for you? Might be in my case as well

If you're in Florida Tesla may have temporarily lifted any software locks on batteries for a while. I believe they did that a couple of years ago in a previous hurricane.

No response from Tesla. Looks like even my standard cruise control and immersive sound are gone too. Tried factory reset and hard reboots too... So strange

Immersive sound is supposed to go away on SR, but cruise control certainly shouldn't.

Yeah, but they were trying to UNLOCK range for SR owners because of the hurricane and ended up removing it. That's bad timing.

Depends on the mindset.... they still got months of extra range that they didn’t pay for...

if they bought a gas car with Sr range, the range would be the same the whole time.....

Same boat. Literally getting in my car to evacuate when I noticed range dropped to 209.

I evacuated to Asheville NC from Savannah, GA. 251 mile trip. I used to be able to make that trip with one supercharger stop in Columbia, SC. Had to detour to Santee, SC to make it to Columbia, then again to Greenville to make it to Asheville.

Added over two hours to my trip.

Very poor timing.

And yes, Elon himself verified on Twitter that evacuees would have software limits lifted during the hurricane. Instead we get limits imposed. Very poor timing.

I am not, however, being charged for the supercharged. So at least there is that.
