Tesla has divided the "used" Model S sales into "pre-owned" and "new"

I just noticed that on the teslamotors.com website there are now separate links to the "pre-owned" CPO cars for sale and the "new" (showroom demo) cars for sale. Did this just happen yesterday when the refreshed S showed up on the website? See:

I speculate that Tesla is trying hard to sell their current showroom demo cars so they can get the refreshed S version in the showrooms.

Pretty sure its always been that way, but has been awhile since I've last looked.

it's always been that way. they can still call the demo cars new since they were never sold and are eligible for the federal rebate.
