5 days for me as well. She told me production was moving fast and I should expect to take delivery by mid January.
Current Model S owner in California near Fremont, here's my timeline:
3/31/16, early afternoon - In-person reservation @ Palo Alto store
4/1/16, 3:16PM - Reservation confirmation email received
8/17 - Model 3 delivery estimate shown as "October-December"
11/1/17 - Model 3 delivery estimate update to "November-January"
12/15/17, 5:30PM - Ready to design & order email received
12/15/17, 5:56PM - Order placed & confirmation email received
12/20/17, mid afternoon - VIN assigned
12/20/17, 4:50PM - Received 1st call from DS (725 area code), asking when we'd like to take delivery (ASAP!), was told to expect a call next week to schedule
12/21/17, 10:53AM - 2nd call from DS (725 area code), ready to schedule delivery!
12/24/17 - Tentative pickup date from Fremont hub!

your dates give me hope for my dec-feb delivery to happen in jan/feb and not in May which is what i was projecting based on "expect the worst" from Elon.
Funny. I'm in CO and had been thinking similarly--I have Dec-Feb listed for first production, and figured I'd be super excited if I could take delivery around my birthday (mid-April). Starting to think that could happen!
Just got my email to configure. Online order as soon as it opened up. Got two emails 10 minutes apart for some reason. Holding out for SR option.

Haven’t had a DS call or a VIN after my 12/14 config confirmation so, decided to call Tesla earlier today - option 3 for the 3
- and talked to a rep who did see a DS assigned (Elizabeth wasn’t-told-the-last-name); the rep confirmed that she was in at work and emailed + IM-ed her to call me back. Nothing so far.
My invites just showed up. Both reservations. I’m not moving forward yet.
Same with me. Checked my emails, and then checked the account on a whim. Just about fell out of my boots. I’m also an early online reservation.
We don't mind whether you are moving forward, backward, sideways, back to the stone age, or even back to the ICE age. Just please tell us that you configured your beautiful Model 3's and are anxiously awaiting delivery!
