Even a 220V 20A circuit would likely suffice for charging if you can get that at home.Home charging is so convenient, may I ask why that option is not available?
I charge across the street at a parking garage that has two 7kW public chargers. That works for me, but I miss the convenience of charging at my home garage.
Check the 75kwh prices you might find them to be less expensive. I used one in Greenbrae, California (just north of San Francisco) last month which was $0.23 per kWh (at night) and the nearby 150kwh stations were $0.40Completely relying on external charging as home charging not available : Tesla SC(75KW) vs EVGo vs Electrifyamerica
Location: Stamford
Which one is better any drawbacks?
Charging rate is measured in kW (I'm guessing you're talking about 75 vs. 150 kW stations).Check the 75kwh prices you might find them to be less expensive. I think it depends on the age. The supercharger near my work is 150kw. Another one near me is 250kw.Tesla's urban Superchargers are AFAIK 72 kW. Example at San Jose, CA - Cherry Avenue Supercharger | Tesla.
Neither of these 72 kW sites are that old:I think it depends on the age. The supercharger near my work is 150kw. Another one near me is 250kw.
