f**k wall street
Exactly. While the stock was going down this morning, I was at Earth Day Texas showing my M3 and educating others with the other North Texas Tesla owners. There were thousands of young kids from schools there today and most of them were shouting "TESLA!" As they walked by. **** WS. The next gen knows what's up.

150? really?
that’s harsh, but plausible i guess, if we get some other factors involved. nothing happens in a vacuum i guess. i’ll still sh!t myself if it goes that low. not gonna lie.
You didn't understand. That's one way to calm myself. If I can be prepared to see 100 and not panic than I can take the marching down of prices with ease.

In another word I am shitting in my pants :D:D. But managed not selling.

BOUGHT 300 shr TSLA @ 233

Lots of selling. High daily Volume. Q2 loss is being priced in here.
In the near term a short squeeze will get SP back to 255
Next support level is really bad @ 190.

Edit: Be prepared for CAP raise. Its going to cost tsla more now. SP will be diluted when this happens. Should have done this when SP was at 320. TSLA getting into insurance is NOT realistic. Need a strong balance sheet to get into that business and TSLA rating is equiv to junk bond.

Hostile takeover. Elon does not have a controlling share in the company.

If people think GM's stupid Cruze technology is worth $14 billion, a large tech firm might be willing to pay much more for Tesla's self-driving IP alone. Buying a controlling share in Tesla if SP drops under $200 will be about that same amount (~$16b).
I don't know, but I would think that Wall Street doesn't want to lose this casino. They have quite a bit of control to drive it up by covering to avoid the scenario of a buyout. Once it goes up and buyout interest dries up, time to short again.

Nah, I think it will go lower and I am preparing myself to see 150. If I can be mentally prepared for 100 then I guess I am golden.

FYI: TSLAQ did some back of the napkin math and they suspect Elon to get margin called at around $136. No idea if there's any truth to that particular number, though.

Legitimate or not, let's hope for Tesla, SpaceX, EM and mankind that we don't get close to that level.

Your addition of Flying Saucers appeared to make that a sarcastic editorial comment. I've found that technical analysis has validity in making trading decisions (especially at tops and bottoms), often more so than fundamental analysis. So should fundamental analysis also be excluded from this thread? Your suggestion might be a good one if members actually visited the TA thread.

McGraw-Hill had me write a book on technical analysis. You may want to read it to learn the reasons why technical analysis is frequently quite predictive.

I personally have no issues with technical analysis. I was a professional day trader and used TA a lot, even if it’s only because others base their trading decisions on it. But it is TMC policy that this thread is meant for fundamental analysis and should stay devoid of technical analysis. As moderators we uphold that policy. And today it was getting out of hand with many TA charts (removed) and predictions.

Whelp, no couch-cushion change at the ready, but I'm pulling some index cashola out within my IRA. That'll close after hours today and I'll be a buyer in the AM. This is nuts.
Not an advice, but the next report to the Judge in SEC v Musk is due by midnite Tuesday, April 30. Jus' sayin' Wednesday is hump day. Or could be stuck-in-the-mud day. Did I say not an advice?

Oh god you guys need to calm yourself. Currently we have irrational selling plus shorts driving this to the ground. Nothing but a Tuesday boys. Bought 8k worth of shares. Really wish I have more cash.

This is a no brainer. GF3 is going up at lightning speed, Model 3 is a fantastic product and you know sales are just beginning when YOU CAN'T EVEN BUY A RHD VERSION OF THIS CAR TODAY.

The limiting factor are cells, not demand for cars. You have to measure this company in cell demand which is at max capacity and will be for a very long time. Because you know what happens when the demand for the cars become soft?...Cells will be used for powerwalls and packs.

Right now cell constraint is the only problem for Tesla. It's preventing them from manufacturing the Semi, Y, Roaster, power walls, packs, and additional Model 3s. Maybe Maxwell can help fix this issue, or Panasonic needs to step up, or GF3 can reduce stress from GF1. Whatever it is, this company is not declining in sales of cells in any way.
