Boeing will not be affected by this. This is almost certainly an accidental shoot down (anti aircraft missile) by Iranian forces worried about a retaliatory attack. Classic example of the horrors of war.

Its called the fog of war for a reason. And yes, much easier for them to shoot it down then the USA because of where it was. That is the last thing Americans would do. If it was shot down over US airspace it would be a different story. Iran have tons of AA equipment nearby, and its on. Twitter videos are already surfacing too. We will know more soon.

This is not @KarenRei's account I think: she described her options spread strategy in several posts, and while it's high leverage, it uses longer term options to survive a bad quarter and dips/corrections.
If you look at the posted trading log, most of the gains came from short term options leveraged over a big TSLA run up with barely any pullback. Just a single month of delay in the rally would have wiped out most of these gains.
Congrats in any case, but please be aware that even long term options are incredibly risky.
I do not believe the U.S. shot down this aircraft. But it is unfortunately quite far from "the last thing" we would do: Iran Air Flight 655 - Wikipedia
