Remember that time, like every time, Elon says something insane and way ahead of everyone else (and in public so he gets all the cOnStRuCtIvE CrItIcIsM in perpetuity) such as that one time: every country would want a Gigafactory and the whole "machine builds the machine" will happen.

Well...

I sincerely hope Tesla does not build a vehicle manufacturing plant in France.

If you think UAW is bad, the unions in France are very powerful. Large groups go on strike on regular basis.

France is not very compatible with the culture of the Tesla teams out there IMO. And France isn't a great choice tax wise/cost of labour either.

Only geographically it has a nice center position in the EU, but Giga-Berlin checks that box already.

(Edit: I know I'm making a sweeping generalisation here, and I don't mean to be offensive. But it is known that France has more than average hindrance due to labour strikes)

I doubt Tesla will be another Gigafactory so close to Berlin. Maybe some research center, or a battery plant:I'm all in favor of battery/Megapacks plants, even one per country. Demand is infinite.
Btw, Musk is right now in Rome, he will talk with First Minister Meloni this afternoon.

i have been doing this long enough to know my own limitations. nobody, absolutely no one can ever predict short term price movement with any degree of certainty and certainly not on a consistent basis.
Yet a large percentage of your posts are ridiculous predictions of short term price movements 🤦‍♂️

They are digging in at 250 today, but it's still early. The volume has been as high as 500K this week. Friday should be fun!

@Curt Renz
note the 20, 50, 200 day moving averages
the ?yellow? (i'm very color weak so i think it is yellow) is the 50
the heavy line is the 200
the blue is the 20
when the 20 and 50 are above the 200, it generally tends up, (2 obvious waves) and vicey versy downwards

we are about to have the 50 day cross upwards the 200, and the 20 has already crossed, (6/1 (50) and 6/9 (200)) so we are heading into self fulfilling prophecy territory, as a rush of folks join the "par-tay" and the 50 is closing in on the 200day SMA "real soon now"
so my investment thesis, HODL, is copacetic at present

(if I had not needed the endorphin "fix" of the casino of trading, and just DCA'd, i would have 20x the number of shares) :(
