Same price, 8%-10% more efficiency(range), no stalk, cool interior led, ventilated front seats, models S/X like rear screen.
I'm glad that the price didn't change.

Disappointed the price didn't go up.I'm glad that the price didn't change.
Am I crazy or does this sound like it would cost more to produce, but the price remains the same?
Not sure about any changes to the battery either that could reduce cost, good point on the eliminated stuffLooks like they saved money in some areas (stalks, fog lights, etc) and add content in others. No giga castings mentioned so far that I can see.
Sorry but wow people here jumping to conclusions just because the influencers and car sites didn't mention Gigacasting and update batteries...which would be the #1 and #2 things that would reduce cost of the car.Disappointed the price didn't go up.
I mean all the hoopla about this car being a major cost reduction doesn't seem like a cost reduction. They have changed 50% of the parts, everything looks higher in quality and now there's a second screen.
Where is the official range posted? 333 to 421 is quite the jump!
No stalks.
Oh man, I've got serious FOMO. I wanna see the specs on the performance.
Hopeful this juices the stock price tomorrow.
No, it won't. They say ~12% more range, so that would mean the EPA would be ~370 miles. (Or you could estimate 10% less than the WLTP, which would be ~379 miles.)wonder if it will also do over 400 miles EPA,
Gigacasting's savings are off set by the number of parts now different from the Y. I mean I'm sure this car is probably not more expensive than the current 3 to produce, but I don't see "a lot less." The number of part changes was surprising.Sorry but wow people here jumping to conclusions just because the influencers and car sites didn't mention Gigacasting and update batteries...which would be the #1 and #2 things that would reduce cost of the car.
I would be shocked if Highland isn't built on Gigacasting and we've had multiple reports (who were right about the date of release and details of the car) saying Gigacasting is being used and more efficient batteries going in. Maybe Tesla doesn't want to advertise the battery its using for Higland
Surprised by the reaction
