Dealing with work stuff, will respond more when I get home and can catch up with all your requests.
Many thanks SilverSmith for your early photos.
Quick requests
- photo of the console the the USB-A and USB-C plugs.
- comparison of the frunk of Y and 3 in measurements - tub design looks different
Yea, doesn't look like the Jeda/Taptes hub thing for the 3 will fit. They have 2 USB-A ports to plug into the car, and this has a USB-A and C
Ok, here is the info on the hitch. There is not a receiver hiding under the cover, and the cover is rather hard to remove, but I did get it open and take a picture.
BTW, I noticed the rear tires are wider AND taller than the front. Interesting... What is that, 0.6" taller and 0.8" wider on the back?
255/35R21 = 28X10R21
275/35R21 = 28.6x10.8R21
Not mine.
Oh, because I was going to ask if the pastry in the front dash was standard equipment.
Seriously, it looks great. Super-excited to get mine in (checks notes) 2026.
Thanks. Lots to say here, but the bottom line is that it looks good. More practical storage space than I expected. At least from the video, it doesn't look shoddy or rushed.Elon does give out free cookies to everyone that visits Tesla.com. Check your browser cache.
Here's another one from Ben:
Model Y cargo capacity (68 cu.ft.)
Jeep Grand Cherokee (68.3 cu.ft.)
Whattttttt? So disappointed if true, I wanted the Y to fit my 3 kids across the 2nd row. What happened, how can it be smaller than my 3???Really disappointing to see that the hip room on the rear seat on the Model Y is actually LESS than the Model 3.
Looks like it's less than a 2" difference.Whattttttt? So disappointed if true, I wanted the Y to fit my 3 kids across the 2nd row. What happened, how can it be smaller than my 3???
