First wash and double coat of Turtle wax Ceramic Spray Coating! Went on really easily too. The Tesla wheel caps arrived today and I was pleasantly surprised. In the web-shop they don't look very good and seem to stick out quite a bit, but in real life they are quite flush to the alloy, so keep that dished alloy look... With my last car I had bough a cheap kit of Amazon but it corroded over the winter. I'm hoping the Tesla ones keep their looks...

Looks so good, i'm keeping my aeros on for now but that these photos have tempted me.

I tried to like the Aeros but couldn’t bring myself to. So was kicking myself for not spec’ing the 19” Sports wheels. On the plus side, I bought replica 19” sports wheels which look like the v1 wheels (which I prefer over the newer flatter wheels).

They were fitted with Michelin PilotSports today and fitted to the car. The place I bought them from forgot to include the Tesla centre badge so are sending these out.

Where did you get them from??

I agree 100% about the "Aero" plastic trims. I pulled them off a few days after I had the car.
But I'm took the low cost option: Tesla's own plastic hub/wheel nut covers, £50.00 for 4.
Good enough for me....

The price you see (change to £) is not the price you pay. When you order for shipping to the UK, they take the VAT off as we're no longer in the EU. Although you will have to pay VAT/Duty when they are being delivered. I ended up paying £1,129 for the wheels and £139 VAT/duty. I also had to buy new TPMS. GreenDrive can supply you official Tesla ones (at least they told me they were Tesla sourced) but I had already bought them from Tesla.

I then paid £670 for the PilotSport 4 fitted.

What tint is that? %

Just thought I’d show a couple of photos from the garage where I’m getting the car detailed and ceramic coated. The man said it’s the worst Tesla they’ve ever had in, and they’ve done hundreds.

First two pics are the side panels I believe. Third is bonnet after being polished.

Looks like someone washed the car with sandpaper instead of a sponge by mistake

This isn’t very clean but the wheels and windows are sorted - just need some sun to make it worth cleaning.

The white one in the background goes back to the lease co shortly - it’ll be a good one for someone as it’s only done c15k since May 2020 (Reg ends NYG and it’s been a lovely car if anyone sees it in the future).
