Tinting rear window night visibility question

The cop gives you the ticket for illegal tinting after he walks up to the side of the car to give you that speeding ticket.

Not that you’re going to get a speeding ticket in a Tesla....... :)
Depends on the cop. I got pulled over for making a right turn during the short window where you can't make right turn 7-8:30am. Only window I opened was passenger window. Tint wasn't dark. I think it was 30% all around including all rear windows. He was waiting outside the car when I made the turn (didn't see sign and unfamiliar with the area) and signaled my to pull over.

So if he was to write me a ticket for all the other things, it would have included windshield (75%), rear side windows (not legal in CA), no front license plate (which he clearly saw when he steered me pull over).

I ended up getting ticket just for the turn and fought it through trial by written declaration and lost, then asked for another trial and cop didn't show and got my check back this week.
