Trade-in Confusion

I am in the process of purchasing my CPO and the trade-in process for my existing car has left me extremely confused. First my DS has me fill out a MS word with details. She comes back with an estimate and explains it can be lowered once my car is inspected. This all happened before I put a deposit down on a car. Once I put the deposit down on the car, I noticed a trade-in task which I initiated and put in some details and said "awaiting offer".

After I put a deposit down, she then sent me a link (NE & NY Metro Self Trade-in Inspection Form) where I upload photos, etc. Apparently, this is good enough for now and I don't need an inspection anymore until I trade it in. Finally after nagging my DS today, she got the estimate officially confirmed and then I had the option of Accepting the Offer. However, I then finalized my Payment Options moving it from a tesla loan to a local credit union and it changed my Trade-In settings to "You have not indicated any trade-in". I have no way of getting the offer back there. I emailed my DS tonight so she can fix this, but has anyone experienced this before and know how to fix this? What a mess of a process this has been.

If you have a Carmax near you, go there. Carmax will give you an estimate even if you aren't planning on buying with them.

Many (all?) Tesla stored will honor the Carmax quote (because Tesla turns around and sells car to Carmax!). Remember that Tesla doesn't want your ICE car.

My estimate from Tesla was $5000.
Carmax offered $6500. The offer is good for 7 days.
All I had to do was take a picture of the offer and text to my delivery specialist

Mytesla continued to say that 5 of 6 tasks completed, with the trade nesting completion

On day of sale there were no problems . Tesla took my car and gave me my new car, and all paperwork was fast.

All I needed was my title and checkbook.

(I was an all cash buyer trading on a paid off car, and live in state where sales tax is reduced by trade in value, so I save money by trading into Tesla directly)
