Troy's sheet showed 17 VINs yesterday, slightly down from the ~25 avg we've been seeing for 1-2 weeks. Today it's 0, confirming Fremont shutdown starts today. It should restart on Monday (5 days). After Feb shutdown we didn't see VIN assignment until 3 days after the shutdown ended, so we may need to wait till next Thur to see VIN assignment back up to normal again.

Minor correction. That doesn't confirm that the shutdown started today, right?. That just confirms that the VIN assignment stopped today--at least for now. (Fremont could have shut down yesterday but VIN assignments could still be going out, right?)

Checked the stock price expecting it to be +$305 by now.
Shocked to see TSLA shares are still way underpriced. By april next year a share price of below 300 will imho be unimaginable.
A slight advice (to buy and hold, not predicting the short term here).

My understanding is that Tesla usually assigns VIN when a car comes out of production. So if VIN assignment stops, it's pretty clear to me that the line is not moving. I don't mean to force my view on anyone.

Well if true you'd be correct. I'm just not sure if that's true, but maybe you have evidence that I haven't seen.
Bought 50 at 296. Couldn't sit idle any longer and watch the good news pile up while the SP goes nowhere.

With this email from Musk, we have a few actuals. I think that the burst rate of 6k to be solidified a month or tow after ending Q2 at 5k is consistent with a logistic ramp 10k long-term target. Take a look at this update with actuals.
